What Is This?

This is our very own Internet domain: BLACKSTONE.NAME (Well, it's ours if you are a Blackstone!)

With this domain, anyone named Blackstone can have a very rememberable email address. For instance, if there is someone named ABC Blackstone, she can have an email address like this:

• abc@blackstone.name

If ABC can do it, why not you?

What Does It Cost?

Nothing.

Well, actually it costs me (Mike Blackstone) $9.95 a year to register the blackstone.name domain and $7.95 a month to host the site at DreamHost, but that comes out of my hobby budget. (Hey, everyone has to have a hobby, right?)

Since I'm already buying the technical bits, the only cost to set up extra email addresses is a few minutes of my time. Since I don't expect there to be a great many Blackstones pounding on my door, I think I can handle the workload free of charge.

Include the following information:

• Your real name
• An email address where I can contact you to coordinate your new account
• The name you would like for your new email address
• Optionally, a little bit about your branch of Blackstone's

The information you provide will only be used to administer your domain or email address. I will not divulge it to anyone else.

I'm starting this service on May 5, 2007. You will probably get your first choice of name if you act quickly.
